Aikido of the San Juans offers traditional martial arts training to adults and children in Pagosa Springs.
Aikido of the San Juans is a member of the Takemusu Aikido Association (TAA) (http://takemusu.org/, which is recognized as a qualified Aikido organization by the Aikikai Foundation, Hombu Dojo, in Tokyo, Japan. The TAA seeks to work cooperatively with other Aikido organizations nationally and internationally. This recognition enables the TAA to obtain internationally registered and recognized ranks for qualified students of its members.


Morihiro Saito studied with O Sensei for over 30 years in Iwama, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. Takemusu Aikido Association and its member dojos follow the teaching and training philosophy and methods of Saito Shihan.
